Christmas is just around the corner, and thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, the Barn is looking nice and festive! We’ve got plenty of events and exhibitions coming up over the next few weeks to get you in the Christmas mood – see full details below.

Christmas Market & Light Switch On at the Barn and Peel Centre
Friday 26th (4pm-7pm) & Saturday 27th (10am-3pm) November

Get your Christmas shopping started (or finished!) early with the help of our festive Artisan & Producers’ Market.

A fantastic range of over 40 stallholders will be located both at the Barn, and across at the Peel Centre, selling everything from jewellery, artwork, handmade gifts, soap and candles, gin, and much more! Please note that the market is held across two days – you can find a full range of the stallholders by downloading our market programme here.

Even if you’re only intending on browsing, make sure you come and see the Barn trimmed up for Christmas. Our lights will be switched on at 4pm on Friday, and you will also be able to enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

There will be plenty of other events taking place in town too – after visiting our market, why not make your way down to St John the Baptist’s Church for the spectacular Christmas Tree Festival (Fri 26th Nov-Sun 5th Dec)? Returning for 2021, Dronfield Hall Barn will be represented with a tree decorated by our team of garden volunteers. See it alongside many others from a wide variety of different groups and organisations located in Dronfield.
