We are delighted to welcome Old Hat Jazz Band to Dronfield Hall Barn on Friday 23rd February.
Old Hat Jazz Band plays swinging favourites and rarities from the 1920s and 30s all in the spirit of the day: with youthful vitality and brimming with enthusiasm. Lizy Exell formed the Old Hat in 2012, while she was still a student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. They continue the tradition of crafting wonderful music from tunes which have stood the test of time, swinging their way through favourite pieces featuring some of the finest musical talent London has to offer.
Combining the quintessential sound of the era with originality and characterful musicianship, Old Hat Jazz Band enjoys playing for dancers and listening music lovers wherever they are invited. Dressed to the T’s looking as good as they sound, they evoke a time of stylish, old school glamour. Don’t miss out on seeing five of the finest young musical talents Britain has to offer!
Booking is via our events page, or call into the Barn and pay at the cafe. Tickets are priced £12 for adults and £8 for under-16s. The performance starts at 7:30pm on the night. To learn more about the band, visit their website by clicking here.
