We are delighted to be welcoming Derbyshire Arts Cooperative & Guests to Dronfield Hall Barn in early May.
Following on from the success of “Take a Walk Down High Street”, this will be the latest exhibition to be held in the barn.
The group are a loosely knit group of five creators, all working in very different fields, and appearing under the banner of Derbyshire Arts Co-operative & Guests.
One member, Audrey Haworth, is now 85 and is still producing exciting paintings, which incorporate all manner of textures into her canvases and follow many different themes. Sandi Williams, also from Dronfield Woodhouse, specialises in fusing glass into whatever takes her fancy. Heather Arbon, from Wingerworth, is inspired by nature and produces a variety of textiles including her signature dragonfly brooches and colourful coiled bowls and hedgerow pictures. Contemporary textiles artist Marion Anniss dabbles in collagraph printing, while newcomer Jason Heppenstall is an exciting sculptor using recycled metals to create real and mythical animals.
Come and see this friendly group of creators, who love to talk to others about what they do.
This exhibition will run from Wednesday May 10th until Friday May 19th, with opening hours being 10am-4:30pm.
