Dronfield Hall Barn is delighted to have received a special award at the Dronfield Civic Society’s AGM last night (May 17th).

The John Robert Clough awards, named after one of the society’s former chairmen, were first presented in 2012. They recognise and reward those who make significant efforts to improve aspects of Dronfield. Last year’s winner was Ouzel Bank Cottage on Highgate Lane for the sympathetic extension and new out buildings.

The Barn has been recognised for “its exceptional contribution to Dronfield’s heritage”.

Dronfield Civic Society also recently nominated the Barn for the prestigious Civic Voice Design Awards. You can read more by clicking here. The Barn has been shortlisted in Historic Buildings category, and winners will be announced in Parliament this summer.
