On Saturday 14th October 2023 the Dronfield Footpaths and Bridleways Society are holding a re-launch of The North Chesterfield Way

This is a nine mile linear walk from Chesterfield to Dronfield. Starting from Chesterfield Town Hall at 10.15am the walk takes in Holmebrook Valley Park, the villages of Cutthorpe and Barlow, a stop at Barlow Fishing Ponds and then back to Dronfield via Monk Wood, Cowley Mission and the Leabrook Valley

The Mayor of Chesterfield will be greeting the walkers at the Chesterfield Town Hall and then sending you on your way to Dronfield, where the Mayor of Dronfield will welcome you back to the town.

The walk was originally launched back in 2004 and is now being re-launched with updated and newly reprinted leaflets which are available at The Barn

A warm welcome is extended to anyone who wishes to join the walk on the day!
