HOW DO DRY STONE WALLS STAY UP WITHOUT CEMENT?

Would you like to discover how walls are built and how they fit into the structure of The Barn as well as doing a bit for the Dronfield Community?

We are again offering the chance to join Mike Baker, a waller and member of our gardening team, to hear about how dry stone walls are built and have become part of our landscape. You will then be able to join him to help build a wall as part of a community project. Places are limited to ensure social distancing. All work will be undertaken in line with Covid-19 requirements. Be sure to register your interest soon to avoid missing out!

Day 1 – Tuesday 29th September: In the Courtyard Room at the Barn 9:30am-12:00pm
Day 2 – Wednesday 30th September: At “Guideacre” Guide/Scout Group, Hilltop, Dronfield 9:30am-4:00pm

£45 for Barn members and £50 for non-members
