WHY DO DRYSTONE WALLS STAY UP WITHOUT CEMENT?

Would you like to discover how walls are built and how they fit into the structure of The Barn?

We are again offering the chance to join Mike Baker, a waller and member of our gardening team, to hear about how dry stone walls are built and have become part of our landscape. You will then be able to join him in the Peak District National Park to help in building a wall. Places are limited so please book now to avoid missing out!

Day 1: In the Courtyard Room at the Barn 9:30am-12:00pm
Day 2: At Ridgeway Side, Stanage Edge, Hathersage, 9:30am-3:00pm

Charges, with proceeds going to maintaining the gardens, are £40 for Barn members and £45 for non members.
