Sarah Thursfield, author of ‘The Medieval Tailor’s Assistant’ will be at Dronfield Hall Barn to lead a brand new workshop:
Englishwomen’s Headwear, 1100–1500
Join Sarah for this weekend course to learn what ladies and women really wore — including 101 ways to wrap a piece of linen, the gender of the hood, the importance of the hairnet, and one or two surprises about the ‘hennin’. Learn how to make the component parts, how to wear them, how we know, and why it’s worth getting it right.

Bring your own lunch or buy in the coffee shop.
