We are pleased to announce the return of Highcliffe Brass with their friends, Wyn, Ella & Ellie to The Barn. Their last appearance was very well received and their return is long overdue. Members of the brass group arrange and play a wide range of music crossing genres from baroque to jazz and classical to rock.
Wyn and Ella Pritchard
Wyn is a published singer/songwriter whose musical career has ranged from playing French Horn with the National Youth Orchestra of Wales to winning competitions singing his self-penned songs. A particular highlight was performing at the 2014 Eisteddfod y Wladfa in Patagonia, South America.
Ella started learning the recorder aged 4 and sang her first solo in church at the age of 7. Since then, she has taken up other instruments and performed with a wide variety of ensembles in the UK and Europe crossing genres from classical to jazz, playing in orchestras, big bands, brass band and folk groups.
Wyn and Ella write and arrange their music for duo, group and choral performance and for various instrumental combinations.
Ellie Ashmore
Ellie, who has recently gained a Musical Theatre Diploma from the London College of Music, is a prominent member of Dronfield Musical Theatre Group and has starred in a number of their productions. She has an exceptional singing voice and is an accomplished instrumentalist and we are extremely grateful to her for singing with us on this concert.
