Come along to The Peel Centre on Friday 12th October at 7:30pm for the Dronfield Annual Lecture, as North East Derbyshire MP, Lee Rowley, gives a fascinating talk about his first year at Westminster.
It has been an exceptionally turbulent time for British politics, with the vote to leave the EU (or Brexit) dividing both the country and political parties in opinion. In our own constituency, debate has raged over several controversial issues, including fracking and plans to build hundreds of homes on greenbelt land.
Elected as an MP following the 2017 General Election, Lee will talk about all these issues and more. If you are passionate about politics, or just curious to know what goes on behind the scenes, then don’t miss out on getting your tickets for this event! Tickets are on sale at £8 (price includes refreshments) and can be purchased from Dronfield Hall Barn cafe or The Peel Centre.
This event is jointly organised by The Peel Centre team and the Dronfield Civic Society.
