Make sure you come along to the Barn this weekend (June 3rd-4th), as we’re holding two big events on both days.
On Saturday June 3rd, come along to our Local History Fair. If you’re interested in finding out about the history of Dronfield and wider area, or want to start researching your family history, this is a perfect opportunity to do so. Experts will be on hand to answer queries, including the Dronfield Hall Barn Research Group – who were responsible for the “Take a Walk Down High Street” exhibition that was held earlier this year. Others include U3A Family History Group, Totley Local History Group, Chesterfield Canal Trust, Friends of Bishops House and the Old Dronfield Society. The fair will run from 10am-5pm.
Then, on Sunday June 4th, we will hold another of our ever popular Local Producers’ Market. If you’ve never been before, these are ideal for food lovers! These markets champion high quality artisan food and drink from the surrounding area. This will run from 11am-4pm. You can see the list of confirmed stall holders by clicking here. This too is free admission, but we welcome donations.
We hope you can make it along to one or both days and look forward to seeing you soon! Remember to spread the word with your friends.
