Saturday 11th April 2026 marked World Parkinson’s Day. The day aims to raise global awareness of this progressive neurological condition, reduce the care gap, and support the estimated 11.8 million people living with it. Key events included illuminating landmarks in blue, local walks, and educational workshops.
We lit up the Barn Blue and all wore Blue to raise awareness in support of this fantastic cause.
“It was a fabulous afternoon, you all put so much effort into it – putting up posters, balloons, lights, putting out booklets and leaflets. Thank you so very much 🙏🏻💙” Sue Humpage of Parkinson’s UK lead the event
