Volunteers make a start in the gardens…
This morning, our trained volunteer team made a start on the dry-stone walling around the barn courtyard. Following training conducted jointly with the U3A, the volunteers got stuck in to moving the stone and preparing the ground. We are grateful for the support of the Peak Rangers, Tom and Terry who have guided the process.
There is still plenty of work to be done in the grounds. Look out for further training courses later in the Spring and if you wish to volunteer contact us at dronfieldheritagetrust@outlook.com
L-R the volunteers enjoy a well-earned tea break, Tom and Terry show us how it’s done and the team ready to go!
