The Grade II*Listed, Dronfield Hall Barn is built around an early 15th century timber-framed manor house. It is a beautifully restored and quirky venue, full of character, dating back to 1430 and located in the heart of the historic town of Dronfield, Derbyshire.

In their Global Wedding Awards 2021, the Barn was awarded the title of “Best Individual Wedding Ceremony Venue – East Midlands“! MEDIEVAL BARN WEDDING VENUE
A recently restored 15th Century Barn situated in Derbyshire, and only a 30 minutes’ drive away from Sheffield, this unique heritage building is proud to offer a limited number of ceremonies each year in our intimate and historic venue.
For the duration of your day, you and your guests will also enjoy exclusive use of the grounds and gardens which include:
- A ground floor entrance – your guests can be welcomed with a drink’s reception and canapes.
- A main gallery on the first floor – this fine room with timbers dating from 1430 is a stunning space and where you will be seated to enjoy your wedding breakfast.
- Modern courtyard extension area – we are fully licensed to offer civil ceremonies if you wish to hold your marriage vows here.
- Heritage Gardens – set in glorious woodland and a perfect spot for your photographs.
QUALITY CATERING
Dine at the Barn provides an extensive choice of menu from a traditional breakfast to more contemporary food. Our team of caterers are also happy to arrange for you to design your own cake, decorations and flowers. Meal timings can be flexible and arranged to suit you and your guests and special diets can also be catered for.

Bespoke Wedding Package
Our Bespoke Package is specially designed with you and gives you and your wedding party exclusive use of our beautiful venue from Friday evening until Sunday morning.
Intimate Wedding Package
Our Intimate Package is ideal for a lower key celebration. Designed for between 30 and 50 guests, there is access to the Barn all day until 10pm on your wedding day.
